How can I network two Windows 7 PCs and an iMac to share printers and media?

Alistair Brown asks:

I want to be able to share media and printers between two PCs, both running Windows 7, and my iMac. Is this possible, and if it is, how do I do it?

Hi, this is possible to share media among the two PC with Windows 7 and the iMac. One way to achieve the sharing is to networking the PC and the iMac. By configuring the network setting in the PC and the iMac, giving permission to access the media folders would allow both users to share on each other in the same network.

The website will explain the networking to connect the iMac to Windows or vice versa:

You might have to turn on Sharing on the Mac. Macs use Samba for file sharing, It is in your System Preferences.

Apple has a guide to this that will get you going on the Mac:

I am amusing you now how to correctly share in Windows ( hopefully not sharing every thing to everyone on the Internet )
