Ed asks:
I have a blog developed by Thingamablog. I would like to move all the blogs, pictures, etc. to a WordPress platform. How would I do this?

September 20, 2010Hi
First make a full backup for your blog.

To move your blog from WordPress.com to your own domain, you first need to have a web domain and some server space where you’ll host that blog.

Although you cannot change your current blog URL, you can simply register another WordPress.com blog under your existing user account and then transfer your content by following these steps:

It depends if you want a full control or not.

The instructions above are for moving FROM WordPress but the questions was how to move TO WordPress.

September 22, 2010WordPress doesn’t have anything to import Thingamablog directly, but if your current blog has an RSS feed, you can import using that.
