Why do most Android apps ask for updates extremely frequently? Why are such frequent changes in app codes necessary?

Thanks. I viewed the link in your answer and liked the option of reading reviews for updating apps. I guess that reading 'whats new' can also help in this topic

    Update apps on your device

As Oron J. stated this depends on support team of each android applications installed on your android device, but if you go to the above link you can 3.Select individual apps to update or touch Update all to download all available updates.
Some updates do fix bugs other updates are for introducing new features or game level if are game applications.

It's not just Andoid Apps. iOS apps update just as often, and certain types of PC & Mac software also update very often. I suspect the main reason for those frequent updates is that the apps are developed by small teams (often a single developer), and they are both more agile in development (i.e. able to add features or change things quickly) and very possibly less strict in testing them in the first place, so that compatibility issues, security problems and just plain old bugs come to light quickly after releasing the new version and need to be addressed.
