Could MakeUseOf provide a list of WordPress categories so users can subscribe to sub-feeds?

Istivan asks:

I’m an avid reader and fan of MakeUseOf and read it through RSS. However, I find that (obviously) I can’t read everything and tend to gravitate towards the same authors/categories.

Now I know that WordPress provides sub-feeds for each category. It would be nice if MUO provided a list of RSS options, for example:

+ a full feed (which is the current option available)
+ a How-To feed
+ separate feeds for Mac, Windows and Linux software
+ separate feeds for: Technology Explained, Opinion, Games, etc

My question would be: Could you provide a list of the (WordPress) categories you use so I could figure out my own sub-feeds?

I don’t know why you are asking for more.. I read the lasted articles through RSS, using PostBox! (I am testing it, and I’m liking it! XD)
And I have three categories:
MakeUseOf (All normal articles about computer & internet stuff)
http://feeds.feedburner.com/Makeuseof
MakeUseOf Answer
http://feeds.feedburner.com/MakeuseofAnswers
MakeUseOf Geeky Fun
http://feeds.feedburner.com/GeekyFun

What do you mean you don’t know why I’m asking for more? I’m actually asking for an option to receive less…

What I’m asking for is a list of categories that are maintained in a stable way so that I can choose to subscribe to 3 or 4 of those categories rather than the whole shebang as it is now with the main feed.

I could figure out a few of the categories myself, as WordPress already allows for that. But I’m not sure about the categories so it would be a lot of trial and error on my part.

On the other hand, the MUO people know their schedule and which categories they publish regularly on and can take this cue to offer sub-feeds.

Istivan, this is actually very simple to do; just navigate to the category or tag you wish to subscribe to, such as http://www.makeuseof.com/service/mac ; then append /feed to the end of that URL -> http://www.makeuseof.com/service/mac/feed .

Thanks James. Hadn’t realised that there was a /service/ before the categories, but now that you mentioned it, I hovered over the top navbar and saw the link :) cheers
