If you're using Windows XP, make sure you also have the Microsoft XML paper specification pack installed.

Thanks. The installation contains two files , each for 32 bit and 62 bit ( four files )
One pair refused because the processor type ( bit ) was incompatible. But other pair also gave errors , like register / not register with device already registered sort of , then verifying / continue , then file cannot be accessed / Retry , then auto re-download followed by errors again. SP3 is already installed and shows in Comp properties. Please check whether another package is a pre-requisite for this package's installation , as an active link for another package seems to be displayed on the link you had provided. Thanks

and the xml paper specification pack .msu file says : Error reading from File Location ( C:Dropbox...msi ). Verify that the file exists and that you can access it. Retry / Continue? Retry - No change. On clicking Continue - the dialog box says - "Installation Incomplete. The installer was interrupted XPS Essentials Pack installation could be completed. You need to restart the installer and try again" On installing same file again , the error repeated

Thanks. I have noted the .Net weblinks. Please tell , that can transferring printer to another workstation affect Google cloud print? The Google cloud print was set on particular workstation , but now printer is moved to workstation having XP? Other than XP version , can any other technical reason be responsible for cloud print not materializing?

if you have a network printer, install Google Chrome on the workstation or server you want to manage your Google Cloud Print account from.

Run Google Cloud Print as a Windows Service
      https://support.google.com/a/answer/3179170?hl=en
Port 5222 is required only for the print server. PCs and Chromebooks will submit print jobs to Google over https:443.

hi. I mean to re-emphasize that printer ( classic / non-network ) was set and working with Google Cloud Print. Recently the same printer was moved and connected to another computer running on XP. Thereafter trying to Google Cloud Print failed to materialize on printer moved to another room. I have noted the weblinks for .NET and installed .NET 4 Profile package ( is profile package same as .NET or different from .NET as required ). The installation detector software also detected the .NET 4 profile package. Further , please tell , does the printer moved to another room have to be configured again on cloud print , or this is not relevant and earlier configured same printer from another room would work as it is?

you should be able to move the printer to another computer then you have to configure on this computer and perhaps also first remove it from the first computer.

you don't see a printer, try these tips below.
      ?Refresh your printer list.
?Check with the printer owner or group owner. Remember, the owner controls printer permissions.

      Google Cloud Print Business Overview
•Classic printers (A and C in the diagram): Run the Cloud Printer Connector as a Service. To install on a Linux print server, refer to the instructions for installing Google Cloud Print on a Linux server.

Thanks for putting your tech skills on this query. I could implement Google Cloud print. The .NET 4.0 Client profile got installed and showed in detector software ( which you provided viz ASoft .NET Version Detector… http://www.asoft.be/prod_netver.html ). Thereafter it was also noticed that after same printer which was activated for cloud printing , was moved to another room displayed two same profiles in google account cloud printer list. I understand that printing failed as default cloud print-to was 'old profile'. I re-named new profile and changed cloud-print-to new profile and eureka! it printed. Jaya!
