I am setting up a social group/mailing list for a large organization (800 people). I’m looking for something between a mailman list, Facebook Group and Google Group, since none of those meet my requirements.

An ideal solution would look like a Facebook Group, integrate with Google Calendar like a Google Group, enable either public or private replies to posts, and support content filters like a mailman list. Am I asking too much? Does nirvana exist?
