On a desktop I have Windows XP and Linux Ubuntu.
After an update of Linux, I can no more use Windows.
Every boot try sends me to Linux.
What can I do?

Yes every time you install a major update to ubuntu, your dual boot configuration gets screwed up and it needs to be reconfigured. It shouldn't be too hard to fix.

In the terminal, key in the command "sudo update-grub2" (without quotes) and please post the output here.

Configure Grub, Command Line is required. Do you have separate drives or partitions, This is very important? When you updated, Grub also updated. What version of Ubuntu are you running.
