How can I locate my stolen Android?

Phone can be located by IMEI number, but only if police or authorities help you.
and you need your IMEI number also, which you can find on the box.

that may help you to locate the phone.
mostly, you have to install or register before the phone is stolen,
But you can use these things, so it will not repeat in the future.
