terri asks:
How can I play the sound from my YouTube video playlists while I am on my PC? I don’t want to watch the videos, just listen to the music while I am working. Thank you.

I know this is a stone-age answer, but what’s wrong with minimising the browser window?
Oron’s answer is probably the simplest
but if you want to ‘extract’ the audio and keep it as MP3, there are a host of online apps for the job –
http://www.listentoyoutube.com/
http://www.youtubetomp3.net/
http://www.youtube-mp3.org/
And some we have covered too –

You can also try out the audio version of YouTube as provided by a service like Sawgi
No she doesn’t want either of the two.
She wants to LISTEN TO AUDIO… FROM YOUTUBE – NOT HER HARD DRIVE …… AND NOT DOWNLOAD THE MOVIE DATA.
i don’t know why it’s so hard to understand… you know, when you have youtube playlist that you listen just for the audio, well youtube download the video anyway… i wan’t the same thing terri wants. To be able to stream only audio from youtube, you know, my isp LIMITS my download monthly, and video takes a lot of bandwidth
tubemate is your solution
