1. Select the desired Chat
2. Tap on the title of the Chat (located on the top center of the screen) and then tap on the red circle with the dash that appears on your profile picture
3. You will be asked to confirm your intent to unsubscribe from the Chat

Hello Anthony,

In IOS5 you can turn imessage off
Go to the Settings app and tap the Messages menu.You will find iMessage switch the slider to OFF
Thats it.
