I need to learn project management and Microsoft project management in a flash.
I have a great tutorial that my Uni provided me, but I don't think I am allowed to publish it.
At first, it's quite hard to get your head around it, but once you do, it's actually quite simple.
I would open Project 2007, and check out the help menu. There is also a sidebar called Tasks which walks you through the steps required to create a project.
Thanks a bunch!
By trying out templates for project management. I've never learned more about managing projects than when I test project management software - and since I love Excel the most for planning, I have to recommend this: http://www.makeuseof.com/tag/excel-project-management-tracking-templates/
In my opinion you'll learn more from using those templates in a practical way than you could learn from any tutorial. Good luck!
