I want to learn French without any coaching. Can I do that using the Internet. If so, how?

There are two sites that come to mind. One of them is at Duolingo.com, and I believe it is still a free site. The other one is Babble.com, and while it isn't completely free, the first couple of lessons are. I personally preferred Babble.com as its teaching methodology seemed to work better for me. However, I do believe it is dependent upon the individual and how they each best learn information. Anyway, I hope this helps you out. Au revoir,
    Rick
