My Toshiba laptop is asking for a HDD password when it starts up, but I don’t recall setting an HDD password. What do I do?

March 23, 2012The only way is to pull the laptop apart and remove the watch battery (actually called the CMOS battery). Once removed then put back into the computer it will be reset to defualt, which is no password.
The problem is getting to it, What model specifically is the laptop?
