Is there a Kindle ebook reading app for the Tracfone LG800GHL?

David Rogers asks:

I have an LG 800GHL with Tracfone service. It is capable of Internet and email. Is there an eBook app that I can use on it to read Kindle books?

No, There are several decent Java ebook readers out there like Albite (http://albite.org/reader), but none that will open Amazons proprietary format. Most of the java ebook readers available only support TXT

Thank you Richard, this leaves me many ebooks I can read on my phone outside the Kindle format, so I’ll look for a Java ebook reader!
