Is there any way to receive tweets if my carrier is not supported?

I’m from India and don’t suggest me Google SMS channels. They are down now. Any other way?

    IFTTT might be able to help you. I don't use Twitter but I 'push' my email to my phone that way. Completely free and versatile.

      Thanks for your response though I've checked all that twitter help before. That's of no use. Twitter failed. And I don't want 1) to check a page again again to check for updates regarding my carrier 2) to send tweets. I only want to receive them. All those links are sorry but of no use.
