I have a Sony Experia play and I have ADWLauncher EX downloaded and recently downloaded GO SMS Pro. I’m wondering if adding other GO products while having ADWLauncher EX as a home theme will mess my phone up or make it act up bad.

June 9, 2012sometime things can happen like incompatibility, best to contact ADWLauncher EX and ask if there is incompatibility with GO SMS Pro.

June 9, 2012Having a texting app that is from a different company than your launcher will not make a difference. Each phone brand has a different launcher than the other, other than the Google phones. Samsung has Touch Wiz, HTC has Sense, etc. My wife and I use Go SMS and don’t have any problems with either. I have used it with ADW Launcher without problems and with the stock launcher without problems.
The only thing I can see that might cause any type if issue is the type of phone you use with certain apps. As there are Android devices ranging in the thousands and the operating systems are ever changing, it is almost impossible to guarantee all apps will be compatible with all phones at all times, that is why all the updates.

June 9, 2012I seem to remember back when I was on my captivate, using go sms pro (because it’s awesome) with ADWLauncher EX and it working just fine. There really shouldn’t be any problem there.

June 10, 2012Only thing you might experience is lag.There’s no harm in using three launchers but switching between them takes few seconds.You also have to make sure that your phone’s internal memory doesn’t run out of space.
So,you can add as many GO products as you wish if you’ve GO launcher EX installed.

June 10, 2012I forgot to mention that my wife uses Go Keyboard with GoSMS on her Samsung phone with Touch Wiz launcher and Go Launcher. I’ve used TSF 3d launcher and SPB Shell 3D launcher with Handcent SMS and Go SMS. We never had any real issues, other than us not setting things up properly. I would suggest you not have more than 1 app for the same function as that would likely cause issues (like GoSMS and Handcent SMS). You could, however, install several launchers and switch through them as you like, though it isn’t the most practical unless more than 1 person would use your phone. That way you can have one the way you like it set up, and another for whomever else. But, the answer you are looking for is that there most likely won’t be any problems installing other Go products while having ADW Launcher in use. That’s the beauty in customization!

June 10, 2012Its not necessary to have a GO Launcher to use GO Products.
If it was so, they wouldnt be available separately in the market..
So go ahead use GO Keyboard, SMS or Locker with ADW.
It wont lag, it wont cause incompatibility beacuse of this.
Also since you are on an Xperia Play, the last thing you need to worry about is lags.. XD
