Is it possible to make a YouTube player that can play video at 120px quality by using the YouTube API?

Shimul Dey asks:

My download speed is 18KBps. I can’t watch YouTube videos properly, even in 240px quality. That’s why I think that if video quality is decreases more than they provide, then I can see the video. But I am not sure whether it’s possible or not. I just want to see the video at any quality without any loading pause and hear the sound clearly.

Hello, with that speed you will always have extreme buffering problems such as loading pauses and stops. Sound suffers because usually video file itself is big and requires most of the available bandwith. To make it buffer faster, it loads the video part and if there is enough speed it loads the sound because it is the small file and therefore your videos would go out of sync of buffering.

With regards to if this would be solved by using the API, I do not know. You might want to try cleaning your browser cache before going to youtube.
