Why does Internet Explorer keep restarting?

Internet Explorer keeps shutting down and restarting. It doesn’t matter if I’m reading the email or surfing the web. Does anyone know what causes this kind of problem?

    The same cause as 99% of all malware infections... you're using internet explorer. Stop it.

    Switch to Chrome! Or Firefox! OK, so that's not entirely helpful but good advice nonetheless.

    ha14 has it right. You definitely should be scanning for malware of all kinds before you do anything else.

    possible windows is infected with malware or you have somekind of plugin or toolbar on IE, try to scan windows with malwarebytes antimalware and superantispyware in safe mode.


    Hello, I would try to reset the browser.  What version of IE do you have?  When you reset the browser, it is as the first time you used it.  You will have to configure it.  Before doing this if possible, make sure to backup your favorites and stuff.
