How can I install Windows 7 using VMware8?

How do I install a 2nd OS using vmware 8? And is it possible to install Windows 7 as a virtual machine within Windows XP?

    Hello, the following is a link explaining how to create a virtual machine in vmware.  If you already created a virtual machine before, just follow the steps from before to create a new one.  Keep in mind, that for you machines to run at a decent speed you have to have enough RAM.  It is true, the virtual machines run ok with the memory assign by the virtual machine but it would let you do the basic stuff.

    Keep in mind that if you are planning to install windows 7 or any other operating system that needs a license, you will need the license key for installation.

    All those questions are answered in the help or manual that came with VMware 8 and in the Knowledge Base of VMware. For details please look there.

    In short: 
    You have to create a new Virtual Machine to install another operating system.
    Yes, VMware 8 does support Windows 7 regardless of the host system.
