Why can’t I install OS X on my computer?

Waqas Sandhu asks:

When I run Mac OS X installation it restarts in safe mode and give no response with iBoot CD and shows dark screen and then restarts.

My computer is:

Intel Core 2 Duo

2GB RAM

Gigabyte GA-965-GM-S2 Intel Express Chipset


Browser: Opera 12.02
System: Windows7

This sounds like it happened some sort of error during the installation… Have you tried reinstalling Mac OS X and selecting the proper drivers during installation (as far I remember, there should be a button for that)…

Checkout the Hackintosh project and the iAtKOS project. Google them. Also check the hardware compatibility list mentioned there. Maybe a hardware incompatibility issue. you can check my video of my own hacktintosh installed at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wX-uGZve-1k

You can’t install Mac OS X on an intel computer..
Try the hakintosh project to do that, as Rajaa suggested!
