Please go to Start Menu and click on RUN or if you are using vista/seven just type RUN and open it. Alternatively press R while holding windows key on keyboard. In RUN dialogue box type iexplore
hope this will work for you if you are using windows operating system.

Sounds like u have a corrupted internet explorer .. well for most downloading and reinstalling should fix it , else try using system restore to a point where you have IE Working. If that didnt do it, then the only way left is to reinstall the OS.Try Contacting Microsoft abt this.

if you have your copy of windows installation disc, you can install it using add/remove windows components. it will be faster than download (and less expensive too :p)
or you can forget IE, use firefox or chrome. Chrome is doing better than these two with me.

you can download IE here http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/internet-explorer/downloads/ie/

you can download Chrome here http://support.google.com/chrome/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=95346

Howdy Dude. You’re so lucky, mmmm. To start with, you have to proceed to the microsoft official site or you will search for the Internet Explorer in google or Yahoo websites to help you look for the specified site for downloading.
So after you’ve search for it you have to enter the specified site. And below the said site, you have to Click the Download File Button. You have to Save the file in order for it to be permanent on your drive, and run for it to run the said program for download and installation.
Good luck and it will just automatically set its Icon on your desktop.

Since you want to install IE for a few sites only, you would be better of using Chrome. It has a feature to switch to IE for pages you wish for.

Don’t know if this is helpful, but I used to use Tredosoft’s Multiple IEs to install and run multiple versions of IE for web testing. They don’t have any versions newer than 7, but do have a stand alone version of IE 7.

Go to Microsoft’s official website and download the latest Internet Explorer from there.
