How can I install Android apps on my LG mobile and can you recommend a free QR code reader?

either download apps directly from the android market, so it will make installation simple.
or download apk file to memory card.

Copy the APK file to your Android’s memory card and insert the card into your phone.
Download and install the Apps Installer application from the Android Market :http://download.cnet.com/Apps-Installer-for-Android/3000-18512_4-75210085.html
Once installed, the Apps Installer will display the APK files on the memory card. Click and install your APK files.

you can also use support tool by lg like a pc suite.
