How can I make Infographic Videos having vectors and infinite zoom?

I have been a fan of infographics and infographic videos, similar to this one and this one.  I could add many other links.

I have always wondered how such videos are made. I am asking here in context to what software is required primarily and how are these effects achieved. I am asking about general direction on how to make such videos, not a brief tutorial, though a link to such a tutorial will greatly help.

Thanks for your help!

Those look like they've been made in After Effects or Final Cut Pro, but have you looked at Blender? It's an open-source 3D content creation software that you can use to create high-quality animations as well as ad-like videos (like this one). With its built-in video sequence editor, you could use it to make infographic videos with vectors AND infinite zoom, but it does have sort of a steep learning curve. BlenderCookie is a dedicated tutorial site for you to get started. As far as video tutorials go, Super3boy has 30 Blender tutorials on this playlist.

Hihttp://www.makeuseof.com/tag/awesome-free-tools-infographics/the number of tools to include the ones of online storytelling: 3D and 2D animation, interactivity, audio and video. Some use probably After Effects using its faux 3d features to interesting effect. or a combination One for doing the motion graphics (After Effects) one for the 3d graphics (could be anything) one for editing, keying, and otherwise manipulating the video (again, could be anything) and possibly a fourth one for composting it all together! Flash isn't really made for motion graphics, but is much easier to learn and will produce acceptable, but not particularly fancy results. Final Cut Studio -- in particular the application Motion -- is another optiontutorialhttp://vector.tutsplus.com/tutorials/designing/how-to-create-outstanding-modern-infographics/visit this site they may help youhttp://visualoop.tumblr.com/Create cool infographics, possible they use Programs like Adobe Illustrator or InkScape (free)http://www.digitalartsonline.co.uk/tutorials/index.cfm?featureid=1823
