I have Windows XP Home Edition as well as Ubuntu. Would like to import a couple of programs from Windows XP to Ubuntu. Is there a way to do this?

Hi, recommendation here of the program called "VirtualBox", an open source to virtualize the windows software in the Ubuntu, or vice versa.

For more information about the "VirtualBox", here is the website: http://www.virtualbox.org/wiki/VirtualBox

    Curtis,

you can run Windows software on Ubuntu using a virtual machine. The virtual machine basically simulates Windows.

Check out Varun's article on how to Run Windows Applications on Linux (or Mac) with WINE.

Wine has packages for Ubuntu and other operating systems.
