October 14, 2012this would be better asked and answered in the XDA developers forums.
http://forum.xda-developers.com SEARCH and READ before asking.
Trebuchet is your launcher..sounds like its a bit borked.
Search and Read before asking on there for sure
. The site is excellent but you don’t want to irritate people by asking something that has already been asked. in fact watch this before doing anything on there lol. http://youtu.be/JmvCpR45LKA

October 15, 2012Launcher problems are among some of the most common forms of getting an unbootable system. It’s a major design flaw in the Android OS, but to date, the best method of fixing the problem is by restoring a backup through ClockworkMod recovery.
There’s a discussion on Trebuchet problems in CM9 on the TouchPad here. They surmise that the problem can be resolved (as in all custom ROMs) by restoring a Nandroid backup.
Have you performed a Nandroid backup prior to experiencing the problem? If not, it’s easily the most important step of any kind of Android modding and something that would benefit you in the future.
If you have not, there’s always the option of performing a complete factory reset, which will restore you to stock. Good luck!
Something else: In the past, I have had launcher problems because my launcher did not have sufficient permissions to run. It has occasionally worked (and this is ONLY in my situation with one mobile device, not the TouchPad) to go into CWM and in the advanced menu, choose “fix permissions”.
The reason is that the Android OS requires a launcher in order to properly boot up. The launcher requires special permissions in order to run and, without them, the system becomes unbootable.
Please note that this fix only worked for me once and it was because I had not properly flashed a custom ROM. Hopefully it helps you.
I found mention of it in regard to the TouchPad. They say you need to wipe your cache before fixing permissions:
