Why does my HP printer automatically go offline from the wirless network after some time?

PatriciaRains asks:

My HP LaserJet P2035N printer is on a wireless network and it goes offline after some time. Any solutions? My office is using Windows 7 and the printer was assigned a static IP address.

un-check the “SNMP Status Enabled” box under the Printer Properties -> Ports -> Configure Port.

Maybe it’s a power saving thing? My one decides to need to be re-installed every time on a certain laptop.

when the printer have an option to automatic sleep mode then this situation will rise go to the settings in printer and disable the automatic sleep mode.
