How do I delete the SearchYa toolbar from my PC?

I don’t like the SearchYa search engine. I think it came with a program and I want to remove it. I like the program but not the search engine. Is there a way to remove it without losing the program?

you can try downloading iobit uninstaller. It works better than the built in one, and can show you a list of all the toolbars you have installed.

Either use the "uninstall" feature to remove it or, possibly, go to addons/extensions in your browser and don't disable it, uninstall it there. This should take care of it.

to remove searchya from chrom you will have to uninstall it from your installed programs. just go to control panel which can be found on the start menu then you would go to uninstall a program and from there you would find searchya toolbar and click on it and then click the uninstall.

Hello, you could try using Revo uninstaller. It is just a matter of downloading and installing the free version of Revo uninstaller. Once installed, open the program and go through all the software installed in your system. Once you find an entry for the search bar, select it and delete. This program will find all the entries for the search bar and remove them. Keep in mind, that sometimes you will have to restart the system:

Also keep in mind, that you will have to change the search engine in your browser if this search bar is the default. If you need help with that, let us know.

Some of the toolbars are not shown in the control panel. You can either directly remove it from extensions menu under settings in browser or else try uninstalling from toolbar tab in iobit uninstaller

Download this wonderful free app and try

I don't think uninstalling would remove searchYa from your preferred search engine! I see that you are using chrome as your browser and therefore, go to settings and search engines and remove it from the list! this will remove searchYa from your omnibox search engine! and select google or a preferred one!

Uninstall Searchya from your computer. ITs a separate program! Eventhough it may be bundled in an application, it installs separately! You could view that in the uninstall window in Control Panel.

Or you could Disable SearchYa Addon in Firefox and other Browsers searchYA inflicted damage.

First try to uninstall it from the native uninstalling method available in Windows via Control Panel. It should work.

If that toolbar is in Internet Explorer, press Alt > Tools > Manage add-ons and try to remove it from 'Toolbars and Extensions'

In Chrome just go to chrome://extensions/ and remove it from there.
