How do I configure an Internet dongle on a Gingerbread Android tablet?

How do I configure an Internet dongle on a Gingerbread Android tablet? The dongle in question is a Tata Photon plus prepaid and the tablet in question is HCL ME Am 7A1.

      On putting settings it asks MCC number cannot be blank though the number is not mentioned in settings of Rajaa's link not in the third link which you have mentioned

      I checked

      The dongle model is supported.

      The tab does not have usb port but has connecting wire with usb port.
      On connecting dongle the signal indicator does not show on screen. Can I continue?

      While adding APN details it does not allow to save

      asking that other field like MCC number cannot be left blank

      (MCC & MNC code might change as per Location) -> call your Tata Photon Plus technical support to get these codes. explain them that you want to manually configure it with android tablet and you need these infos.
