How can restore Ovi Store on my Nokia phone to its original version?

I upgraded the Ovi Store on my Nokia phone and now it’s not working. Will restoring factory setting downgrade my Ovi Store back to the original version?

Restoring the factory settings won’t help, it will only revert your settings to the default factory settings. You can first try uninstalling ovi store and re-installing again. If that doesn’t work then you need to format or re-install your symbian os (from ovi suite).

no.. Restoring the factory settings would not do as it rolls back just only the settings, not the softwares… You have the only option to go for a hard format… Do necessary backup of your phone before doing it… Then dial *#7370# to go for a hard format..

If upgrading and downgrading doesn’t helps then you can get apps from Nokia store using PC by connecting to Nokia Suite.Till then Nokia might address this issue and will fix it.

the best way to visit nokia care center regarding your problem if you were using any Symbian series nokia mobile then you can reinstall your phone os by yourself by using nokia pc suite this might help you
