How can I view my iBooks library while I have an item open?

Barbara Stanislawski asks:

I like iBooks but have not yet discovered all of the ins and outs. I have figured out how to group items as if in a folder and can rename them, but what I can’t figure out is why once an item is opened the library is no longer visible. I can’t figure out how to access the library without exiting iBooks and starting over. Any suggestions?

At the top of your current book/PDF there should be a button on the left that says library, if not then tap once anywhere on the current page (making sure to avoid any links and the far right or left side of the page where it turns to the next/previous page) and you should see a menu appear at both the top and the bottom. The Library button will then take you back to the area of your library you used to open the current book.
