My Hotmail account is blocked, I am trying to unblock it. The alternate email address is no longer, so I need to know how to unblock this account. When it says I need a code I cannot provide because I no longer can access the alternate account.

When you go the the password reset form, if they decide that you have not provided enough information, they can provide you with a form for you to contact a Microsoft representative who should help you access your account ;)

if you do not have a recovery phone number than you can take the long road 1 Hotmail Sign In don't sign in at bottom of page click Help when redirected to new page look at bottom of page for Support, click, At top of new page there are several different choices click Email-Communications once there you can choose Hotmail Forum Get Help from a support professional. Good luck

You mentioned providing a code. When I have had a similar problem with my Hot Mail account, I put in my cell phone number and they (Microsoft) sent a text message with a code for me to submit. The same thing with Face Book- You can enter your cell phone number instead of email address and they will text a code. If this does work, it is a good idea when given the option to pick available security questions and answer them, plus give any alternate email or cell phone numbers available. (If you don't have another email address, I highly recommend registering and obtaining a Google account - possibly even another so that you have several ways of verifying your identity. (By the way, with my hot mail, I had to wait about 30 minutes before I received the text but with Face Book it was immediate.)
