I can’t use Facebook chat and can’t download app because it says no certificate. How can I reset my Nokia C3 to factory settings, like restoring in iOS. Moreover, I can’t use contact and message function key on my ph keyboard.

    *#7370# - Hard Reset

Make sure that you have a backup, because it wipes all your drives and charge your phone before doing any of resets ( Just in case )

You can use Nokia Suite to take backups -

    http://www.nokia.com/global/support/nokia-pc-suite/

This suite is helpful before performing any operations.

    I don't have a Nokia C3, but I have Google :-)

To soft reset a Nokia C3, you need to press *#7780# and then Dial. The default security code is 12345. The phone will come back to original factory status, but without loosing personal data.

A backup would be a good idea before doing anything.

If you perform hard reset then only it will reset fully.Soft reset does retain some data.
