I have noticed that when someone comments and/or likes a photo in an album of mine it suddenly appears in my Facebook global timeline.
How can i disable that ?

Also, be sure to check out some of the new privacy issues. Some of the control has gotten confusing. I'd start here. I just incorporated many of these changes.

or you can select it and "Hide it from Timeline", instead. Facebook's Edgerank will be smart enough to help you get rid of those annoy things.

There is a setting you can change to control what images show up on your timeline it's located in your privacy settings. https://www.facebook.com/settings/?tab=privacy&ref=mb&privacy_source=settings_menu
