I’d like someone to recommend a specific app or add-on that will let me post to Google+ through Facebook.

    Easiest method:
    1. Obtain rss feed for your Google+ profile (you can get it at: http://gplus-to-rss.appspot.com/)
    2. Use the RSS Graffiti app on Facebook
    3. Add the rss to post an your timeline or any user page
    4. DONE

Using the e-mail method will cutoff your status update. This method will also cut off, but will provide a link to your direct Google+ status post (bit.ly). You can also add static text before the post (mine says [From my Google+])

Unlike Facebook, Google+ does not offer SDKs. In otherword, it is a closed platform. Normally you'd be out of luck except for a handy little website called http://www.ifttt.com. Using your Google Voice account and a FREE ifttt.com account, you can automatically post from FB to G+.
I use ifttt recipe 5238 for regular posts and recipe 5242 for photo posts. Follow the directions carefully or it won't work. And keep in mind, ifttt can take up to 15 minutes to trigger.

You can't. Google still hasn't released an API for such a thing.

You can use G++ to achieve it .There was an article in Makeuseof regarding your question.

Merge Google+, Facebook & Twitter With The Help Of G++ [Chrome & Firefox] -

If you post anything in Facebook it'll also appear in Google+ too.
