In our organization, every user uses the access files to store the database and I also do that. However, a few months ago I set a password for my database and now I lost it. That database is very important for organization. Now I don’t know what to do?

    Hello,
As we know that The MDB files or the Access database files may get corrupted or damaged due to various defined or unfamiliar reasons. When such corruption occurs in Access database, recovery tool needs to be used to repair the MDB files and retrieve the database. In this situation you can try to use Kernel for Access Repair Tool.

Yes, NIRSoft is always the answer to these types of questions: http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/accesspv.html
Also, Windows Security Control Center, which will keep you up to date with the latest NIRSoft and SYSInternals tools: http://www.kls-soft.com/wscc/
    Invaluable.

You can use the following tool to recover passwords for Access files up to version 2003.
    http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/accesspv.html

For newer versions of Access you will need to actually "crack" the password using brute force or dictionary methods. Depending on the system you perform it on and the password length you have set it may takes hours up to days or weeks!
