I want to revert back to Apple Mail. Right now I am using Outlook 2011 as my email client. Is there any way to move my Outlook 2011 back to Apple Mail and still retain my folders and emails? I have data that is several years old emails in various folders and I need to retain the information and the attachments in them.

Any thoughts would be appreciated!

Thats bit strange.. I migrated to Outlook 2011 from Apple mail as Apple mail is horrible with slow internet connection. Apart from that Apple mail does not support SMTP properly and there is no categorization in Apple mail where as data in Outlook 2011 can be differentiated easily. Therefore i recommend you that it would be better to stick with Outlook.

From a year ago, go to the site called MakeUseOf and someone else asked this question. OK, kidding aside, here is a link from last year.
