How can I increase traffic to my BlogSpot blog using Facebook?

Katie Larsell asks:

I would like my blog to be less isolated. It’s on BlogSpot. I’d like to drive up traffic by getting it out on Facebook. How can I do that?

Well if you have a Facebook account just announce your blog on your wall for all your friends to read then ask them if they could announce your blog on their walls.

Hi, your blog on blogspot gives you advantage of being discovered easily because it is owned by Google.
2. It already has the share button to facebook, twitter and g+

3. If you want to add more social website to your website for easily promoting your website, get the code from http://www.addthis.com

4. For ways to send traffic to your website, see this useful post here http://howtotraffic.blogspot.com/2012/05/how-to-send-traffic-to-your-website.html

5.Lastly, note that Rome was not built in a day. Patience, time and consistency will do it.

Share each post as a linkon Facebook. This should Show a small picture(either photo from the post or your own ident from Blogspot) with the title.

A good way to encourage people to click the link is to title each post in the form of a question. People are more likely to want to find the answer to a question than just a generic link to a post.

for example if you have written about a famous celeb (the queen for example) you are more likely to get hits with a title of “WHAT IS THE QUEEN UPTO TODAY?” than “WHAT THE QUEEN IS DOING TODAY.”

this would also work on any other social media platform like twitter or any other websites you share your blog with.

hope this helps and good luck!

I would recommend what other have already said. Share it on your own wall so your friends can see it. Post content about every other day and share that to your wall so you get more exposure. Look at other blogs that interest you, follow those you like, and comment on posts that you like to give you even more exposure outside of just Facebook. Also, use more than just Facebook – use Google+ if you want, or twitter, or reddit. Lastly, be patient! I have had my blog for about a year and just recently went over the 2,000 page view mark which has gone up recently because I followed the advice I gave above. Also, ask close friends to share your stuff as well; one of my friends whom I’ve not actually seen in years recently shared one of my posts on reddit and that post has gotten the most views to date (although I didn’t ask him to share), and my wife and I share each other’s blog posts frequently.
