There are a number of reasons that could cause the touchpad to stop working. Try looking for any touchpad lock keys or buttons on your laptop and keyboard since this is a common reason for a disabled touchpad.

Next, I would go into the Control Panel and open the mouse options to see if there are any options or settings that may cause this, or if the application is running properly.

Try looking in the Device Manager, under Mouse or other input devices to see if there are any errors. Try uninstalling, but not deleting, the driver, and then restart the computer. Then go to the Asus sport website to download and install the touchpad driver.

If none of these help or have any questions, let us know.
