How can I get Mac OS back in my iMac after installing Ubuntu?

I recently disassembled my iMac. I had a stuck disc and I decided to clean the fans too. When putting back together, the fans were real noisy. I read somewhere about the thermal sensors affecting the fans, so I stuck  it on the hard drive.

That all went well, but I couldn’t load the operating system. I couldn’t install Windows  cause of the partitioning. Amongst all that I managed to delete what was on my hard drive. I ended up installing Ubuntu. I also have to use an external monitor as I already had a  smashed monitor,  so I can’t use single user mode and I don’t have access to a Mac to make Lion disc recovery.

Is there a way I can restore my Mac ?

I assume you wiped the restore partition? That makes things tricky. If you can access another Mac I recommend creating a Mountain Lion Bootable thumb drive. This could help: http://appducate.com/2012/12/install-os-x-mountain-lion-from-usb-flash-drive/
