How can I fix my iPhone 3G after installing Dreamboard?

Dave Cosentino asks:

Downloaded DreamBoard to iPhone 3G 4.2.1.

Now the phone does not respond to home button or main on/off button, but occasionally it will show a lock screen, then only opens to Android screen where it is frozen.

Have tried both soft and hard reboot, still same results.
What if anything is the fix, besides complete reinstall?

the themes require a lot of ram

1.You can open up Cydia, and search for openssh and install it
2.Install Cyberduck on your pc
http://cyberduck.ch/
3.open cyberduck and click on open connection at the top
4;on your iphone go to wifi settings and check your ip to put in Server box in cyberduck then add your user name (root) and password
5. In cyberduck at the top choose Go then send command and type
ln -s /User/Library/DreamBoard /DreamBoard

you can have a theme that is causing this problem just remove it.

You could go to a Geek Squad at Best Buy, they are really good at fixing problems but I’m not sure how much it would cost you.

Reboot your device holding down the up volume button and your iPhone should boot up without extensions this should allow you to open cydia and remove the problematic software. (Note: this worked on an iPhone 4S and iPod touch 2g so should work for you too…;)

then after removing the issued software you should do a hard reboot by holding the sleep button and home buttons at the same time to force the device to reboot (quit all open apps as this could also cause the device to lag) you should hold the buttons for 3 seconds or until the apple logo appears. :)
