February 6, 2013Use a browser like Opera Mobile, and access facebook via m.facebook.com , and go view full size for the image, and click save. I have an andriod mobile too, but I haven’t found a way to save the images from facebook app.

February 7, 2013Downloading photos from Facebook is pretty simple really. You should just long-press on the picture after which a menu will appear where you should be able to download it.
Another, bit longer way to save a photo is by taking a screenshot of the photo while it is full screen.
