How can I clean up my Google Chrome bookmarks?

a0d9114b76182cc19698756e65994556 asks:

My Chrome bookmarks are in a mess and unlike Internet Explorer, where you can just go to your Favorites folder, I have been unable to find an easy way to clean them up. Does anyone know?

Thanks!

To completely delete all the bookmarks press Shift+Ctrl+O and select Recent.Click on anyone bookmark and press Ctrl+A and right click on it and click on delete.

This will delete all your bookmarks in Google Chrome.

Click on the little spanner then on Bookmarks.
Now you can create folders for your bookmarks and drag and drop the bookmarks into them.

As Susendeep says, you can go into the “Bookmark Manager” by pressing Ctrl+Shift+O (or from the spanner menu, choose Bookmarks=>Boookmark Manager). This is sufficiently similar to the “Favorites” window in IE, but more flexible. You can search the contents, highlight multiple items, drag them up or down or into another folder or delete them.

Another way to get at the Bookmark Manager is to right click on the Other Bookmarks folder on the Bookmarks Bar and select Bookmark Manager.

Paste “chrome://bookmarks/” without the quotes into your address bar. Click on one bookmark once and then hold Control + A and press “Delete”. Be careful though, make sure to back up first via Control + A and then Control + S!

Chrome has bookmark manager, go to your settings and go to your bookmarks. You’ll see it there
