My Chrome bookmarks are in a mess and unlike Internet Explorer, where you can just go to your Favorites folder, I have been unable to find an easy way to clean them up. Does anyone know?
Thanks!

May 31, 2012Click on the little spanner then on Bookmarks.
Now you can create folders for your bookmarks and drag and drop the bookmarks into them.

May 31, 2012As Susendeep says, you can go into the “Bookmark Manager” by pressing Ctrl+Shift+O (or from the spanner menu, choose Bookmarks=>Boookmark Manager). This is sufficiently similar to the “Favorites” window in IE, but more flexible. You can search the contents, highlight multiple items, drag them up or down or into another folder or delete them.

June 1, 2012Paste “chrome://bookmarks/” without the quotes into your address bar. Click on one bookmark once and then hold Control + A and press “Delete”. Be careful though, make sure to back up first via Control + A and then Control + S!
