How can I bypass the security lock on my Nokia 1616-2?

My Nokia 1616-2 locked due to my little brother. I cannot get back in due to a security code. How can I bypass so I can reuse my phone? Thanks!

I’m facing the same issue, only that i can’t use any other sime other than my own. You can’t bypass the lock. You’ll have to take it to the repair shop, and they’ll re-flash the phone firmware. Then it will get unlocked.

Otherwise the default pasword is “12345″

Iam trying to hard reset my Nokia 1616-2 which is requesting for a security code i cant remember.However i don’t understand how to get the *# on the reset code as the only keys that are working are only numbers.The screen is displaying security code as a chance to enter it of which when i press * nothing is displayed on the space to enter code. Anybody out there who can help me?
