How can I browse my files and the Internet in Metro UI in Windows 8 consumer preview?

I have Windows 8 consumer preview. I would like to know if there is any way I can browse “my computer” in Metro UI and internet in Metro UI as well.

Clicking on the Internet Explorer tile will open up the Metro IE browser.

As far as I know, there is not a Metro equivalent to Windows Explorer.

what you’re saying is you want the whole UI, with all the pages etc loaded in a Metro UI theme. If that’s what you’re saying then it’s not possible until some third party apps and themes are released :(

Hello, as far as I know the only way you have of browsing the My computer in windows 8 is to change to windows 7 view. You can do that either through a script that you can create a link to or you can use a third party program such as the following one:

metro ui is just a big start menu – they call it start screen…. if you want to use metro ui internet click internet explorer and to browse files you need destkop
