How to know the category of any webpage? say for eg., www.olx.in says as “free classifieds in India”. So, is there a way to find web pages based on categories and to know their category title?

Hi DrSunil, there is no standard way to categorise web pages, and in fact most web pages are not categorised at all. There are web sites which try to classify the web by category (Yahoo used to have a large team that tried to keep up with the internet), but they create their own classifications. So, the only way is to search the web, and to use advanced search techniques.

Google have an "Advanced Search" facility (http://www.google.com/advanced_search) that allows you to limit your searches, for example by domain (so you could limit your searches to India), and there are also advanced search operators such as "related", see http://www.makeuseof.com/pages/best-google-search-tips-pdf for a much fuller list.
