How can I create a subtitles for a movie?

    The easiest method probably is to use a tool like Aegisub
    http://www.aegisub.org/

    You just have to open the video in it and then add the subtitles as you want. The program will do all the coding and formatting for you within the subtitle file.

    You could also use notepad or whatever text editor you prefer but you would have to write down the timings for each line manually and maintain the entire code ~ way too much work.

    divxland media subtitler is the best and easiest software to make subtitles. you don’t even have to write down the timings either. and best thing about it is that it’s free

    Hello was looking for a program to make subtitles all around th internet but have been unable to find something for subtitling does anyone have an idea on programs to subtitle ( MOVIES THAT HAVE NEVER BEEN SUBTITLED) as i have a few conference videos which i would like to translate myself anyone has an idea, Please i didnt mean i already have a subtitled file the movies dont have subtitled files?
