I just got a HDTV with wireless connectivity and got it on my home wireless network and can surf the web with it, but I cannot figure out how to use it as a wireless monitor?

September 7, 2011In most cases both wireless and wired network connectivity is for the use of services like viewing YouTube or to play media from DLNA sources. Unless your display clearly states to support the wireless display setup (via Ad-Hoc connection) you are limited to those functionalities.
As always, please READ THE MANUAL of your HDTV. Everything you need to know is in there.

September 7, 2011You can’t use your HDTV as a wireless monitor. At least, not without adding some extra hardware adapters. You can plug it in via stadnard VGA or HDMI cable I expect though.
