What’s a good iPod Touch app for keeping a list of movies to watch and books to read?

I’m looking for an iPod Touch app that will let me keep a list of books I want to read (along with authors, call numbers, and who recommended them) and movies I want to watch. I’m not looking for anything fancy, i.e. no pictures or searchable databases, just a text-based list. Can anyone recommend a good application for me?

GoodReads is a good app/website to keep a list of books.

Goodreads, for books. Books you want to read, and books you've read. No need to buy the same book again. I need a movie list to do the same thing......

Just Simplenote, you can use it with the app or online, with your iDevice or with another device.

    And the app is free!

I use Wunderlist for this type of stuff.

I would make a new list, for instance, "Movies" and just add items to it. You can add notes to the individual items if you want to add extra information about the entries.

    Hi Claire,
My Staff Lite is a good app to list things you own like movies, books, art, games etc. But you can easily store lists of books to be read and movies to be watched there. Here is the link:

I personally like "notes" to keep my lists on, it's already there, free and doesn't take up a lot of precious memory.
    Hope this helps.
