I suspect somebody hacked my facebook account I cant get access to my facebook either from my mobile or my computer. I am being asked for my password and although I remember it, I get the message “wrong password”. Even when a new password was sent to me and I typed it correctly, I got the same error message.  Please help me I need my Facebook to keep in contact with friends and when I write in to blogs!

Like Jan said, sounds like a counterfeit site - most often the case when trying to log in following a typical phishing attempt. Do you recall how you accessed facebook when this first started happening? Was it directly typing it into the browser or otherwise?

Password reset here should work if you're fast enough: https://www.facebook.com/recover/initiate

If you don't receive the email reset confirmation then you could have a hijacked account by this point. Facebook now offers a link to help people who have had their accounts hacked: https://www.facebook.com/hacked

Let us know what you find out.

Go to http://en-gb.facebook.com/help/292105707596942/ and click "I can't log in".

Getting a wrong password message after an (alleged) successful recovery sounds like you are visiting a counterfeit website. Either that or you are just not typing it in correctly, maybe CAPSLOCK, defective key?. Open up a Text editor, Notepad, Word and type it in to see if that is an issue.

Make sure you are not being DNS hijacked

You can also use HiJackThis, to understand the results I suggest one of the analyzers

    1. deactivate all browser Extensions, Apps and Add-ons
    2. change your email password
    3. try another password recovery

are you using a new browser or added some browser addons? I've seen where in Chrome with cookie controlling addons I couldn't get access to my facebook account (I don't remember the error message). try using a different browser to rule out the browser.
