I recently got a new 3D projector, 3D glasses and 3D movie. How do I get them to work with my Compaq CQ61 laptop or my Playstation 3 using HDMI ports?

To receive and view a 3D signal, you need compatible HDMI cables,
    you can try this
    1) Cable DVI/HDMI
    2) Converter VGA/DVI
Connect to laptop VGA the converter then Connect the cable DVI/HDMI then to the projector

i doubt you have 3D player in your laptop? so you will need a 3D video file ready, or you can use Tridef 3D

The player is looking for an HDMI 1.4 3D device. If your projector isn't a compatible device, it can't tell the player to switch to 3D.
